#COOKBLOGSHARE WEEK #21 PLUS 4 YUMMY CAKE RECIPES
Welcome to #CookBlogShare Week #21!
#CookBlogShare is a weekly link party where we share recipes, comment on each other’s cooking creations and generally immerse ourselves in the world of gastronomy! If you’ve got a recipe this is the place to show it off!
I have the pleasure of co-hosting this link party together with 3 fantastic bloggers and each of us gets to host about once a month. They are: Eb@Easy Peasy Foodie, Kirsty@Hijacked By Twins, and Jacqui@Recipes Made Easy.
#CookBlogShare will also occasionally have guest hosts in the near future (how exciting is that!) so just scroll down to the bottom of the post to see who the next few hosts are (so you know exactly where to take your recipes each week).
If you are new to this link party please take a moment to read the guidelines below. Joining is very simple and you are welcome to share your old and new recipes (there is no specific theme and all recipes are welcome).
Thank you to everyone who shared their recipe with us last week.
THE FEATURES – 4 YUMMY CAKE RECIPES
As always we had a delicious selection of both sweet and savoury dishes last week – if you haven’t seen it hop over to Recipes Made Easy and check out all the yummy recipes linked up last week!
This week’s theme is 4 Yummy Cake Recipes, which ties in nicely with the recent Royal celebration (couldn’t resist, sorry;). No, they are not all wedding cakes, but are all gorgeously delicious and different from one another, so let’s see who’s been baking!
(Incidentally, if you are looking for a proper wedding cake Jacqui@Recipes Made Easy recently shared a pretty awesome one on her blog – take a look HERE<<)
So here are this week’s Features:
4 Yummy Cake Recipes
These little beauties were shared by Midge from The Peachicks Bakery, who was clearly inspired by the Royal occasion and created these cute mini cakes using the ‘official’ flavour combination of the Royal Wedding Cake! Not only are these cakes beautifully decorated they are also vegan and gluten free so people with different dietary needs can enjoy them too!
Marilyn from Marilyn’s Treats shared with us her cheesecake recipe – it’s quick and easy, does not need to be baked and is topped with lots and lots of gorgeous fruit! Sounds and looks super delicious!
Lathiya from Lathi’s Kitchen brought a really interesting cake to the party – ‘not the regular chocolate cake’, as she put it. There is so much fascinating stuff going on in this recipe – from being very low in fat to the chilli powder (it is Mexican after all) and the almonds – definitely not your regular chocolate cake recipe! It looks stunning, check it out!
Jo from Jo’s Kitchen Larder shared a delicious cake recipe, easy to make, full of tangy fruit, light and fluffy and not too sweet (definitely my kind of dessert recipe!). This is the kind of cake that’s fantastic with a cup of tea or coffee on a lazy Sunday afternoon:)
Check out also this collection of 27 healthy cacao recipes for everyday.
Thank you again for sharing your delicious recipes with #CookBlogShare! I am looking forward to seeing your recipes, whether old or new, so join the party and link up your creations!
