#COOKBLOGSHARE WEEK #25 PLUS 4 BEAUTIFUL BREAKFAST RECIPES
Welcome to #CookBlogShare Week #25!
#CookBlogShare is a weekly link party where we share recipes, comment on each other’s cooking creations and generally immerse ourselves in the world of gastronomy! If you’ve got a recipe this is the place to show it off!
I have the pleasure of co-hosting this link party together with 3 fantastic bloggers and each of us gets to host about once a month – today is my turn, next week it’s Eb@Easy Peasy Foodie, then it’s Kirsty@Hijacked By Twins, followed by Jacqui@Recipes Made Easy.
#CookBlogShare will also occasionally have guest hosts in the near future (Jenny from Apply to Face Blog will be guest hosting next week! ) so just scroll down to the bottom of the post to see who the next few hosts are (so you know exactly where to take your recipes each week).
If you are new to this link party please take a moment to read the guidelines below. Joining is very simple and you are welcome to share your old and new recipes (there is no specific theme and all recipes are welcome).
Thank you to everyone who shared their recipe with us last week.
As always we had a delicious selection of both sweet and savoury dishes last week – if you haven’t seen it yet hop over to Recipes Made Easy and check out all the yummy recipes linked up last week!
When it comes to cooking inspirations I think the changing seasons, more than anything else, determine our preferences. And summer inspires so much deliciousness! We make picnic food recipes, refreshing drinks and desserts, light salads and alfresco style dishes!
Recipes involving summer fruit are one of my favourite recipes to make and enjoy this time of year. Especially ones with berries! I am glad other bloggers enjoy creating recipes with seasonal fruit too and were kind enough to share them with us last week.
And we all love blueberries, right?
2 of the 4 featured recipes this week contain blueberries!
So let’s check out all the features, shall we?
THE FEATURES: 4 BEAUTIFUL BREAKFAST RECIPES
Midge from The Peachicks Bakery shared her delicious Vegan Lemon & Blueberry Muffins recipe. In addition to being dairy free these muffins are also gluten free and egg free so perfect for people with food allergies. I am a muffin addict and every muffin recipe always gets my attention. A classic blueberry muffin with a citrusy twist sounds absolutely gorgeous!
Another blueberry recipe comes from Jo’s Kitchen Larder. Jo’s American style Blueberry Scones with Lemon Glaze are one of the best sounding and looking scones recipes I’ve ever come across! She also used moderate amounts of both sugar and fat, which makes these scones a great breakfast or snack idea. Your child would love to find one of these in their lunchbox!
Next up is this ‘delicious and nutritious’ Easy Vegan Honey Almond Granola Recipe, brought to the party by Choclette from Tin and Thyme. Her recipe is bursting with nutrient rich ingredients! I also learned a new fact about vegan food from Choclette’s recipe. There is such a thing as vegan honey! This granola recipe sounds super delicious!
Last but certainly not least is this delicious Easy Frittata with Greens and Goat Cheese, shared by Jas from All That Jas. This is a savoury breakfast idea, which can also be enjoyed as part of a brunch menu or even for dinner! This recipe is gluten free and full of beautiful seasonal veggies. And I just love the small cast iron skillets Jas used to create mini frittatas!
My own entry last week also happened to be a breakfast recipe idea! I made this easy, gluten free Cherry Crumble with Quinoa and Almonds.
Thank you again for sharing your delicious recipes with #CookBlogShare! I am looking forward to seeing your recipes, whether old or new, so join the party and link up your creations!
