#COOKBLOGSHARE WEEK #29 PLUS 4 SUMMER STRAWBERRY RECIPES
Welcome to #CookBlogShare Week #29!
#CookBlogShare is a weekly link party where we share recipes, comment on each other’s cooking creations and generally immerse ourselves in the world of gastronomy! If you’ve got a recipe this is the place to show it off!
I have the pleasure of co-hosting this link party together with 3 fantastic bloggers and each of us gets to host about once a month. The other co-hosts are: Eb@Easy Peasy Foodie, Kirsty@Hijacked By Twins, and Jacqui@Recipes Made Easy.
#CookBlogShare is also occasionally guest hosted. Jenny from Apply to Face Blog was our first guest host a few weeks ago. She did a fantastic job and we hope she comes back to host again soon!
If you are new to this link party please take a moment to read the guidelines below. Joining is very simple and you are welcome to share your old and new recipes (there is no specific theme and all recipes are welcome).
Thank you to everyone who shared their recipe with us last week.
THE FEATURES – SUMMER STRAWBERRY RECIPES
I am so glad we had enough recipes using strawberries last week to be able to finally feature this quintessential summer fruit! We’ve had so much sun this year I think the strawberries are sweeter than they have been in the previous years. Don’t you think so? I am glad we all love strawberries and last week’s recipes definitely show it!
They are sweet, some are both sweet and refreshing, and each is unique and absolutely delicious. Take a look↓
Angela from Only Crumbs Remain shared her ‘pretty in pink’ Strawberry Cupcakes, which look almost too good to eat! There are freeze dried strawberries in the sponge cake, strawberry jam in the centre and guess what! The buttercream frosting contains strawberries too! Strawberry extravaganza!
Marilyn from Marilyn’s Treats shared a delicious pancake recipe topped with fresh summer fruit. She used a combination of all the summer berries, which go extremely well with her easy, delicious pancakes. A fantastic summer brunch recipe idea!
Gluten Free Alchemist, Kate, created and shared with us last week a real summery treat. Her delicious sounding Easy Rhubarb, Strawberry and Qointreau Jam uses 2 glorious summer fruits and a bit of orange liqueur, which adds an interesting twist to this recipe. This is no ordinary jam, one that is definitely worth recreating in your own kitchen before summer is over.
Last but certainly not least is this Indian Strawberry Lassi Yogurt Smoothie brought to the party by All That Jas. Jas has created a sweet, rather than traditionally savoury lassi recipe, by using lots of fresh strawberries and a bit of honey. Her recipe is super nutritious and no doubt, delicious too!
Thank you again for sharing your delicious recipes with #CookBlogShare! I am looking forward to seeing your recipes, whether old or new, so join the party and link up your creations!
