#COOKBLOGSHARE WEEK #40 PLUS 5 CHOCOLATE RECIPES
Welcome to another #CookBlogShare link party, where we share recipes, comment on each other’s cooking creations and generally immerse ourselves in the world of gastronomy! Thank you to everyone who shared their recipe with us last week.
If you are new to this link party please take a moment to read the guidelines below. Joining is very simple and you are welcome to share your old and new recipes (there is no specific theme and all recipes are welcome).
There was a definite ‘sweet’ theme with last week’s entries. Is it because we love autumn baking, with the apples and the pumpkin and the Great British Bake Off and Halloween fast approaching? Perhaps. I also think we tend to bake more when the weather gets colder, and it definitely has gotten colder in the last few weeks. Out of the total of 33 recipes linked up last week as many as 16 were desserts (including one of mine!). That’s 50%. Unfortunately it’s not possible to feature all the wonderful desserts so I picked 5 scrumptious Chocolate Recipes as this week’s features. Here they are:
This beautifully decorated cake from Jenny@Mummy Mishaps is an ideal dessert for serious chocolate lovers – chocolate cake covered with orange chocolate buttercream, decorated with orange chocolate matchsticks and jaffa cakes! Sounds absolutely delicious!
This popular classic from Jacqui@Recipes Made Easy comes with a twist – there is rum in the caramel and hazelnuts in the shortbread, as well as sprinkled on top! Both ingredients sound great in this recipe, really complementing all the other flavours. What a wonderfully indulgent dessert!
Debbie from Proper Foodie shared this indulgent classic Italian dessert, which she enjoyed on her recent honeymoon in Italy (huge congratulations Debbie!). Who doesn’t love tiramisu! It sounds absolutely perfect with a little Tia Maria and a sprinkling of chocolate flakes:)
Angela from Only Crumbs Remain demonstrated yet again her superb baking skills with this delicious dessert. She made individual portions of light puddings containing flecks of real chocolate and orange zest and a simple chocolate sauce to go with them. They look SO good!
These bite size treats from Kate@Gluten Free Alchemist look and sound absolutely gorgeous – fluffy, light, creamy and chocolatey, as well as gluten free of course. I am sure Prue Leith herself couldn’t make better ones!
Thank you again for sharing your delicious recipes with #CookBlogShare! I am looking forward to seeing what you’ve been making recently so join the party and link up your creations!
Your host next week will be Eb@Easy Peasy Foodie.
