#CookBlogShare Week #44 features 4 Bonfire Night Recipes – hearty, warming and delicious, perfect for sharing! They are a mixture of sweet and savoury so there’ll be something for everyone.
#COOKBLOGSHARE WEEK #44 PLUS 4 BONFIRE NIGHT RECIPES
Welcome to another #CookBlogShare link party, where we share recipes, comment on each other’s cooking creations and generally immerse ourselves in the world of gastronomy! Thank you to everyone who shared their recipe with us last week.
If you are new to this link party please take a moment to read the guidelines below. Joining is very simple and you are welcome to share your old and new recipes (there is no specific theme and all recipes are welcome).
I had a bit of a dilemma this week with deciding on the theme. On the one hand the most logical thing to do would have been to feature Halloween recipes as it’s Halloween TODAY! And there were some wonderful spooky ideas linked up last week. But since we had a Halloween theme last week (hosted by Jacqui@Recipes Made Easy) and Bonfire Night is coming up I decided in the end to make that the focus of today’s roundup. Here are my 4 Bonfire Night Recipes I featured this week (in no particular order):
First up are these moreish Stuffed Jacket Potatoes from Clare@Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. Hearty and satisfying, popular with adults and children alike, they are perfect to enjoy on Bonfire Night.
Next up are these gorgeous Brisket Buns from Jenny@Apply To Face Blog. This is a super convenient and simple recipe (only 3 ingredients!), as the meat can be cooked ahead and simply quickly reheated when you are ready to serve it.
Corina from Searching For Spice brought to the party these adorable Breadstick Wands or Fireworks, which are a fun recipe to make with the kids ready for Bonfire Night.
A Bonfire Night recipe roundup wouldn’t be complete without a traditional Sticky Treacle Bonfire Night Parkin – Debbie from Proper Foodie linked up a gorgeous version of this dessert, inspired by her Grandmas’ recipes.
