#COOKBLOGSHARE WEEK #5 PLUS 6 NOURISHING SOUPS
Welcome to #CookBlogShare Week #5!
#CookBlogShare is a weekly link party where we share recipes, comment on each other’s cooking creations and generally immerse ourselves in the world of gastronomy! If you’ve got a recipe this is the place to show it off!
I have the pleasure of co-hosting this link party together with 3 fantastic bloggers so each of us gets to host about once a month – today is my turn, next week it’s Eb@Easy Peasy Foodie, then it’s Kirsty@Hijacked By Twins, followed by Jacqui@Recipes Made Easy.
If you are new to this link party please take a moment to read the guidelines below. Joining is very simple and you are welcome to share your old and new recipes (there is no specific theme and all recipes are welcome).
Thank you to everyone who shared their recipe with us last week.
THE FEATURES – 6 NOURISHING SOUPS
As always we had a delicious selection of recipes linked up last week, so lots to chose from, but it was the soup recipes that stood out for me the most – there were 7! If you are wondering why the roundup includes 6 soup recipes, rather than 7, it’s because one was actually my own:)
Soups, stews and other hearty nourishing dishes are simply necessary to see us through the winter months. These soup recipes are warming, delicious, and each has something unique about it. I am sure you will love them. Here they are (in no particular order):
Yumsome shared her 6-Minute Vegan Broccoli & Cheese Blender Soup – this vibrant looking yet simple and nutrient dense soup really does come together in only 6 minutes thanks to the marvellous blender Nico used to make it.
Katie from Feeding Boys shared her healthy, delicious Slimming World Aromatic Carrot Soup – I love the addition of the lemon grass paste in this recipe!
Marilyn’s Veggie Soup from WW is literally bursting with healthy, delicious vegetables – if you make a large batch you can freeze individual portions and enjoy a healthy lunch at work every day:)
Tin and Thyme’s Apple Parsnip Soup is full of warmth from the curry spices and ginger – delicious, healthy and also very quick to put together regardless if you use a blender or not.
This sweet and spicy Roasted Carrot, Chickpea Soup from Jagruti’s Cooking Odyssey is served with a delicious zesty Coriander and Lime Vinaigrette. Look at this soup’s brilliant colour!
Our final recipe is this Quick and Easy Feel Better Soup from Hijacked By Twins. This recipe is fabulously easy and perfect for when you don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen but still want something delicious and nourishing to come out of that kitchen:)
Thank you again for sharing your delicious recipes with #CookBlogShare! I am looking forward to seeing your recipes, whether old or new, so join the party and link up your creations!
Your host next week will be Eb@Easy Peasy Foodie.
